Sunburn Season

This is a reblog from a couple years ago. It works amazing. It’s worth the effort if you are burned, but also keep some in the cooler for use later in the season.

Straight to the point…it is sunburn season. Sunburns hurt. I’ll avoid going over the obvious stuff about prevention. We all pretty much have the anti-sunburn stuff figured out. What we aren’t real good at is, actually putting that knowledge to good use. In other words, as smart as we are about sunburns, we still get them. Now that you are fried to a crisp, you need relief. Try this sunburn relief recipe. You will be glad you did.

2 oz (travel size)  100% Aloe Vera Gel,  6 oz pure Glycerin (pharmacy in first aid section),1 cup chopped Broad or Narrow Leafed Plantain (found outside, probably in your yard), 3 cups water, 1 atomizing spray bottle (I used an empty body spray bottle, washed.
